I am seeking motivated undergraduate students with a foundational background in fluid mechanics and an interest in scientific computing to assist with research in CFD. This position is designed to provide hands-on research experience while building technical and analytical skills in a supportive academic environment.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate standing in engineering or a related field
Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or C++)
Strong interest in computational modeling and numerical simulation
Preferred Qualifications
Prior exposure to CFD concepts through coursework or projects
Basic experience with Linux or willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and follow research protocols
Key Responsibilities
Run and monitor computational fluid dynamics simulations under supervision
Assist in analyzing CFD results using scientific and engineering software
Organize, document, and summarize results in technical reports (Microsoft Word)
Prepare figures and presentation materials for group meetings and presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint)
